28′ Protector – Targa 8.5

Re-Powered, Re-Tubed, Re-Furbished!

This highly desirable Protector Targa 8.5 has been refit with new tubes in 2019, newer Mercury Verado 250 outboard’s with only 166 hours and still under factory warranty. The 200 hour service was recently completed, so this Protector is ready to go!

Protector Service center recently overhauled the transom, performed the engine replacement, re-finished the teak decks, and went though the boat to make sure all systems are ready for the new owner.

These professional grade boats are very popular with search and rescue teams, law enforcement and Sailboat racing events. They are extremely seaworthy in even the most adverse offshore conditions and provide a very safe and fast ride for any occasion.

Accommodation:

The large teak deck provides ample room for lounging, water sports, scuba diving, emergency response operations, or just plain fun cruising. The tow post provides a great way to pull water toys or stranded boats, the downstairs head provides relief for those long days on the water, and the full Targa top provides sun and weather protection when needed.

Cabin:

The lower cabin has two 6’6” single berths with storage compartments and a n electric fresh water head hidden below the seat cushions. The forward water tight door provides access to the front deck of the boat, the forward tow post, and  anchor locker.
