34′ Nelson Mark 1

This Nelson 34 is a great all around boat for fishing, crabbing, exploring, camping or just a day on the water with friends. The Nelson 34 is a boat built in the U.K. and is well known worldwide for its exceptional sea keeping abilities and great ride. The sturdy hull construction has made it very popular in Europe for Pilot Boats and military use. It is also very popular with the touring crowd. Twin diesel four stroke engines have been recently rebuilt and power this boat up to 20 kts efficiently.

This boat has had all of its through hull fittings replaced, along with fresh bottom paint and zincs. The Nelson 34 makes an excellent vessel for fishing groups up to six, and has a large cockpit area for crab traps and whatever gear you may choose to haul around.

Accommodations:

The large cockpit provides high sides for safe fishing and crabbing and a large open work area with plenty of storage as well as seating for up to six guests. Forward is the helm with a hard top and enclosed sides, and two comfortable seats for the Captain and Navigator. Wide and sturdy walk around on both sides provide easy access to all sides of this boat.

CABIN

Walk down the stairs into the lower cabin complete with a work table and drawers to starboard and a head complete with toilet and sink to the port side. Forward is a ver berth with center pad to convert to a full size berth. An overhead opening skylight and side windows provide additional light and ventilation for the sleeping area.
