Manufacturing Description:

The R-27 has nearly 50 Sq ft of aft deck space making the cockpit 25 percent larger than the original R25. The larger cockpit also lends itself to more above and below deck storage. The well appointed cabin has a midship office with desk and chair, this space also converts to a berth that sleeps two. The dinette table is on a hydraulic piston that allows for an easy conversion to a berth or lounging area.

The spacious front v-berth sleeps two adults and is over 6?5″ in length. Cooks will love the standard galley which includes a sink, refrigerator, inverter, microwave and a combination electric stove/oven. The marine head is standard with an electric flush Raritan toilet, glass vessel sink and shower.

This compact boat has yacht size features like a standard bow and stern thrusters which provide for excellent maneuverability around the dock. The 8’6″ beam allows the boat to be easily trailered.

ACCOMODATIONS

DAGON is boarded from the swim platform into the covered cockpit. The cockpit sole raises to expose the engine and aft bilge. On the port side of the cockpit is a hinged lid that encases the Mase Generator.  In the aft deck lies there is a bench and table for entertaining.

Forward through the aft cabin door, you can enter the salon with quarter-berth entrance (sleeps 2) to port and stand-up head with shower to starboard. Moving ahead on the port side is a convertible dinette that seats 4 and sleeps 2 with unique forward seating that hinges forward to become seating for the navigator/co-pilot.

To starboard we find the galley with electric stove and oven, stainless steel sink with hot/cold faucet, under-counter single-door refrigerator with integral freezer, storage drawers and locker, all topped by a seamless easily-maintained countertop.

At the front of the cabin and to starboard is the helm station with ergonomically-mounted controls, instrumentation and navigational electronics.

Overhead throughout the cabin are hatches which allows plenty of light.

Stepping forward is the master v-berth, with a hatch overhead, two night lights and storage.

The entire interior of the boat is heated by a thermostatically-controlled diesel-fired hot air heater.
